ordered octopus, prawns, and a saigon green. the main issue is slow service; two tables seated at least 10mins after I ordered, yet both got all their food before I got my first dish.I had to ask twice about my food, about 25 mins wait, and the restaurant was not at all busy when I walked in.servers were a bit nonchalant but that’s bui vien for you. front tables good for people watching. cheap big saigon beers, and three of the other tables were drinking pina colada’s, so they must be quite decent.prawns were great, I could eat them all day. octopus slightly overcooked but not bad.

Lots of vegetarian dishes and the food and service were outstanding, good price, highly recommended if you're passing by. 👍

Bad food, bad waiting. Gave my orders to the next table (and charged our table for it).Had a hard time explaining the check error to the staff as well. :/

A great place to eat out in Vui Bien. When someone comes to visit us we always make sure to bring them here. The oysters are a must try! spicy fried tofu and morning glory dishes are our favorites.

We came here to eat because of the good reviews and also our hotel recommend it. Ordered a grilled shark and my wife a fried rice. The fried rice came pretty fast but I never received my grilled shark. After a while the staff bring me some fried rice with fish and I told them that I didn't ordered that yet they leave it on the table. I waited for a while till they came to ask me if there is anything wrong with the food. I repeated what I said already, that I am waiting for my grilled shark. Only then they told me that they didn't have it.I can understand if a restaurant remains without something in the kitchen, but I don't understand why they didn't come to told me and they gave me something random from the menu that they thought is suitable. I could have choose something else easily.This is not the way you proceed in cases like that. So wrong from customer service point of view.

Nice and clean place. We had 5 smaller dishes which where all delicious - try morning glory, surprisingly tasty! Sitting upstairs on the balcony let’s you observe the street life a little and have a fresh breeze.

Food was good, service not so good. The waiter got us the wrong drinks in 3 of 4 times. We had to wait approx 20 min for the drinks and 30 - 40 min for fried noodles, which was the longest we ever had in Vietnam.

Worst experience in Vietnam:1st/ Menu is not clear enough, so I order something with chicken w/o knowing it.2nd/ After telling me "you should read the menu before ordering" and arguing during 5 minutes with the aggressive waiter, another guy finally suggested me to redo my meal without chicken. That sounded fine...3rd/ I received this "new" meal, but you can obviously see in the picture they only removed manually the chicken pieces and put tofu/mushroom in place. But the guy let somes pieces of chicken...Conclusion: no respect or consideration for the customer, go there if you want to be treated like a dumb wallet !Cảm ơn !!

Placed an order and then proceeded to wait for 30 minutes. Asked the wait staff where the food was. They then gave us the menu again and asked us to place the order again. Since we never got any food, I can't tell you what it taste like. If you have a few hours to waste, try them

Pretty good, but very small portions for the price. I'd probably skip the spring rolls too, they aren't great. The place is clean, beers are cheap and food is pretty nice.

It is a huge place with an assortment of seafood. However it was very difficult to converse with them due to the language barrier

Amazing place! We were there twice, they serve great Vietnamese food, with very good prices and service!

The food was great, unlike most places it wasn't chewy/rubber like. I ordered both types of oysters, cheese grilled and raw. Both were very good, also we got frog porridge which was delicious.And the lotus salad is worth a try!

It was very busy, so give them a bit of credit, but the service was poor and the food well below par.Stray a bit further from the tourist centre, and you'll reap the benefits.

Over all decent place to eat & Saigon beer 15k for big. Nice on the roof top.

This restaurant is rather good a few ỷears ago but not now. Staff does not care much about customers. Rats and cats are running around. Some cats ate leftover food on the table and dropped on the chairs and staff did not stop them. They provided chipped plates for us to have dinner and we requested to change them.We are quite disappointed about their service even they got recognition by Trip Advisers from year 2013-17.

Worth the walk to the end of the street for a quieter spot to eat. Cheaper than some of the bigger bars and restaurants, had the chicken Pho and it was lovely. Owner was very friendly :)

This place has a nice balcony. Food was good. Relaxed atmosphere.

Great food. Great ambience. Affordable for tourists too. A stark contrast compared to the noise and wild in Bui Vien street, this restaurant is family friendly for all visitors. Not sure if oyster is a delicacy in Vietnam but the oyster by the kitchen is fresh and we didn't regret ordering it. So good, we came back on our second night after a good experience on the first night.

Just ok food. The location is nice to be part of the scene.

Place was clean by Saigon standards. Standout for me was the bitter gourd with egg - there's a pleasant wok hei flavour. Grilled oyster with garlic was just passable. Cuisine style is similar to what you can find in Singapore Zhi Char style.

Food is fantastic, veggo dishes available which ended up being nicer than the meat dishes we ordered however over all its still delicious. Staff are nice but can be foregetfull depening on time of the day. The young kids who take the orders can get confused and miss some of the dishes you ordered. Lauguage barrier might be an issue but that is why they have pictures in the menu. Gets super busy at night but never empty through out the whole day.

When you get tired of the street food head here for flavour popping authentic Saigon cooking. I was wary of the oysters but they arrived cheap and fresh. The steamed crab was delicious although it arrived uncracked and without any way to eat it until they eventually found a cracker for me. Other dishes were equally tasty and interesting. Good value and good food 👍

This is an attractive restaurant with an extensive mouth watering menu at extremely reasonable prices. Sitting upstairs is lovely and service is quite attentive. The portions are good, the quality of the ingredients perfectly fine. For the prices they charge, this could be an absolute winner. Unfortunately, there's one small problem. The dishes that come out of the kitchen are just not convincing. They could let any random Vietnamese mama cook the food for them, and I'm sure the result would be so much better. As it is, most dishes simply taste bland, as if they're trying to cook for Western palates, completely unaccustomed to Asian food. But is there anyone who really enjoys to eat this kind of food, I wonder. After adding copious amount of fish sauce and chilies, all the food that came out was okay, but that's just not good enough in a city full of amazing food. Pity.

The food is good although I didn't like the sauce of the spring roll. Oysters are worth only 30000 VND per piece almost 1.5USD and it's also good. Beers are very cheap compared to the pther establishments in the street. The people are nice and very accommodating. Toilet is okay though no toilet paper. In our table, the waiters made it a point to refill our tissue everytime. My favorite is the fried vermicelli with seafood. Boyfriend said that the porkchop is good too. I would definitely go back here.

Food was good. The Employees were nice as well but sadly the service wasn't good at all. I've been here with my brother.At first we got a dish that we didn't order. Then we just got one dish (we ordered 2)20 minutes later we got the second one. After that we ordered a drink but got a wrong one again.

Great venue with a lot of character. The food was varying quality depending on the dish. The spring rolls were not great but the oysters were amazing along with the frog legs.If you're in the area then I would check it out but don't set your day around the venue

Lovely small and cost restaurant witte food traditional Vietnamese dishes. And the diere are the very affordable prices. Must nothing to complain about.

Extremely delicious food right on the walking street of HCM. Smoothies were fabulous and surprising the prices were very reasonable.
